Since 1984, the Employer Health Care Alliance has been representing employer health care purchasers throughout Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana who offer health insurance benefits to a combined total of almost 650,000 employees and dependents. EHCA is the Tristate’s only business organization focused solely on health care issues. We are one of more than 60 employer-driven coalitions across the United States and one of four in Ohio. As a member coalition of the National Business Coalition on Health, EHCA is aligned with a nationwide effort to positively influence health care.

We work hard for our members. In our 20-plus years, we’ve developed strong working relationships with all players impacted by the health care industry. We meet regularly with key executives from hospitals, health systems and managed care organizations. This ongoing interaction with health care stakeholders and related community activities ensures EHCA plays an active role in increasing quality, promoting accountability, improving outcomes and lowering health care costs in the Tristate. EHCA’s analysis and understanding of and its influence on local, state and national health care legislation makes us Tristate employers’ vital link with policymakers on items that matter to our members in the human resource and health benefits fields.
